The latest sculptures in this series enrich the original concept, bringing in subtle nuances that express the artist’s introspection on the fleeting nature of existence and the inevitable degradation of material culture. In these works, the motifs of shadow and reflection, past and future, are fused in a symbolic dimension where gold, surface cracks, suspended time, and transparent forms evoke a sense of irreversible loss while also hinting at the possibility of rethinking.
AfterToday takes on a new resonance as a process of contemplation and an attempt to transcend traditional conceptions of sculpture, where each colossus serves as a mirror of society, reflecting not only its grandeur but also the fragility of human existence. Through these images, the artist challenges the force of time and its destructive power, inviting the viewer to reflect on their own place within the historical process and the inescapable dominance of Chronos.
