The sculpture reflects on memory as a continuous connection between the physical and the spiritual. In the context of collective loss and war, the work emerges not merely as a recollection but as a form of preserving presence.
The concise cubic form embodies the idea of wholeness that has undergone division. The two parts of the sculpture symbolize earthly and celestial paths as images of life. They can be joined into a unified whole, pointing to the possibility of restoration, inner healing, and the rethinking of experience. The oscillations of the surfaces become a metaphor for the energetic trace of human existence — the memory of those who have passed and those who continue the journey.
